The idea behind this was the feeling of being suspended over the earth. Glider includes the sound of the wind buffeting the aircraft but generally all is calm. Low Earth Orbit I & II go a little higher into the realms of communications satellites. Space Junk... is a sound picture of watching the sun glinting off the reflective metal. It's beautiful but it's still junk. Psychologically it's about a sense of detachment which can be a good thing in some situations but can lead to a pathological break from reality, "Slowly drifting out of a Stable Orbit".
