Almost entirely Wiard 300 series Modular synthesisers with a few field recordings. Many of the twisted zapping sounds were created using an early pitch shifter, the MXR Pitch Transposer. You set the various pitch shifts on 4 knobs, these were touch sensitive so touching different knobs would cause the pitch shift to change instantly. By setting the "Regeneration" knob (feedback level) very high with one knob at +0.1 and one at -0.2 I you get sweeping zaps and touching the knobs you get wild pitch increasingly shifted feedback.
